Meridian Exercise & Chakra Breathing

Client Testimonial

I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Lucie Vogel over the past 3 years and have seen first hand what a dynamic and talented healer she is.  She has the rare combination of a big vision and heart, coupled with the grounding to make real change with her clients and in the world.  As a client of hers for one-on-one healing sessions, she helped me wake up the wisdom in my body to heal stored pain.  I should add that this “waking up” has been permanent and deep, and for that I am truly indebted to Lucie.  I have also seen her lead many workshops, ranging in size from 5 to 50 participants and her facilitation skills are excellent.  I see her as a very wise soul, fully engaged in the world, and helping and healing whomever she contacts.

I walked into Dahn Yoga center 2 years ago looking for a massage.  I was recovering from knee surgery and physical therapy was not helping much.  I decided to try this to see if it could help my knee.  What I got was more than relief for my knee.  I got a new view of the world and a better way to live.  Lucie was my instructor and my healer as I began.  Her classes were amazing. They made me feel so much better.  Her healings brought out much more than I expected. Little did I know the deep baggage I had, the fears.  Her healings helped my physical body release much of that.  She encouraged me to do workshops and then on to healer school, essence training and then deeper spiritual training with great love and care.  Most of all, the reason I ended up doing all the programs that she suggested is because I trusted her.  Everything she encouraged me towards was the right thing for me.  You have to break through a lot of resistance to make progress when you get to a certain level.  She is the one that guided me through all that.  Lucie also helped my son with healings and getting him to do Dahn Mu Do which was important in pulling him out of a rough time in his life.  She never stopped caring about us.  Her energy is so big and strong and loving, always with true and honest intention.  She is a very special person in my heart.  I hope all of you get a chance to share her beautiful soul.

In this class you will become deeply acquainted with the process of self healing and personal growth through ancient holistic traditions.  In the meridian exercise portion of the class we will draw upon training systems that include qi gong, do-in, yoga, and native dance.  Each type of exercise will allow you to release stagnant energy accumulated in the body from stress, emotions, environmental toxins, and negative life patterns and also to circulate fresh new energy throughout the entire meridian system.

Following meridian exercise in each class we will do chakra breath work.  During this part of the class we will deepen sensitivity to the chakras and learn to balance and heal them with a specific focus beginning with accumulating power in the second chakra, purifying and opening the fourth chakra, and brightening and connecting the sixth and seventh chakras to the divine guidance within.

This is an ongoing course available to people of all physical conditions and levels of experience.  Through continued practice of meridian exercise and chakra breathing you will increase your energy level, strength and flexibility; balance emotions, experience an increased sense of peace and joy, and find the answers within to guide you on your Earth journey.

Each class runs 1.5 hours with the opportunity to stay after class to drink tea and share your class experience as well as receive guidance in your practice.

Lucie Vogel

Lucie began her training in the ancient holistic traditions in 1997.  In 2000 she began seven years of training in Dahnhak and DahnMuDo.  She made a five year monastic commitment to be a student of Dahnhak’s founder, Ilchi Lee, studying extensively with Jung Sug Hong who is a master healer in the Tao Holistic Healing program in the Sedona Ilchi Meditation Center and with Chun Shim who was the regional manager of Boston Dahn Centers for ten years.  She ended her monastic commitment in 2007 and moved to the Valley to pursue her dreams of eventually opening a sustainable community with a holistic school and retreat center.

During her time of study in Dahn she became a certified Dahn instructor and Healer and trainer of a variety of workshops and teacher trainings.  She was the head instructor of the Newton Dahn Center for three years as well as an assistant regional manager for New England Dahn Centers and in 2006 she earned the prestigious instructor of the year award for the North American Dahn organization.

Lucie’s deepest passion is for those who study with her to become self empowered to live healthy, love filled, and purposeful lives.
She has a degree in Writing from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and in her free time she loves to, ski and study macrobiotic cooking and crystal therapy.
