We feel that life is not slowing down on its own. The increasing pace of existence continuously ties our bodies and minds into knots. That is why it is increasingly more important to find ways to slow down and release the knots. It is important to do yoga.
Our classes and teachers will bring you back to a state of physical and mental ease.
Yoga is for the purpose of stilling the "modifications of the mind*." It is not a religion, but a way of looking at things. It let's you see the world and yourself more clearly and connectedly. From this perspective, life is easier and more joyful.
Yoga can be interpreted and practiced in many ways. The best known way is through doing asana, or poses. But working with breath, immersing yourself in meditation, and other paths can achieve the same yogic goal: stilling the mind.
Once the mind is still, the body and spirit are at ease. This state of ease is remarkably healing and uplifting. Do yoga to experience this state daily.
Yoga is deservedly famous for it's wide ranging physical and mental benefits. It offers systematic ways to cleans the body and balance the mind; a healthier body and happier mind are the result. Relief from physical pains is almost a side-effect compared with the opening of your heart and mind, made possible through yoga.
