Mapping & Designing Our Inner LandscapesA Transformative Workshop of Release and Renewal"In Kay'aleya...I met this beautiful woman and felt calmed and relaxed in her presence. She comes accross as a heartfelt, authentic, open hearted woman, a forest woman, a woman of ancient spirit and heart felt warmth. I give thanks that she is on the planet, bringing her self into the world, and in doing so, uplifting the spirits of others." ~ Jonathan, Santa Cruz, CA "Love in action, that is Kay'a. Divine joyful love! I just shared another spiraling with her and feel glowing appreciation for her light, love, depth, and brilliance. BRILLIANT as in shining, BRILLIANT as in sparkeling, and yes BRILLIANT as in really really smart. Her brilliant mind is awe-inspiring, how she can know so much about so much. Her brilliant heart melts any ice. And her brilliant beauty is captivating. Blessed I AM to know such a reflection of the One." ~ Kassandra, Sebastopol, CA As a reflection of the major shifts occurring in this time on the planet, many of us are experiencing a need to review the patterns and systems that have kept us effective and aligned in our personal, social and professional spheres. Some of our old ways of being (habits, tendencies, ruts, even pleasures) are just not working any more and it is time to release these futile aspects of ourselves and re-pattern the inner landscape maps that have become who we think/know/feel we are. This transformative workshop will be a participatory opportunity to look into ourselves through a variety of approaches, pick out one or more aspects that we feel a need to release, release those in an intentional supportive space and then begin to redesign our uncovered inner landscape maps into maps that truly reflect who we want to be now. This workshop will offer a format to enhance our ability to activate our latent potential thereby renewing ourselves. We will use the powers of self-reflection, surrender, acceptance, intention, ritual, honesty (with self & though not required perhaps also with others) and active integration to achieve our goals. The Tentative Schedule:In the morning, we will presence with how/who we are now (i.e. our inner landscape 'maps'). Using a variety of tools both creative and practical, we will explore the various layers of our beings with suggested activities like meditation, personal creative expression, movement, writing, song, subtle energy body scans, and thoughtful reflections. By the end of the morning session, we will have developed some kind of map that we feel expresses the parts of our inner landscapes that have come up during this session. These might be desirable or not. In any case, we will all probably have run into at least one thing we want to release. Our break for lunch will allow us to further determine what specific aspects we would like to let go of during the Release Ritual which will start off the afternoon session. As the afternoon session begins, we will participate in a ritual of release that composts those aspects of our inner landscape maps that we are ready to let go. It will be a sacred space where we will all be present and respectfully supportive of each other's release experiences. From our post-ritual cleansed space, we will be better able to focus on designing newly inspiring maps that are aligned with our dreams of who we truly want to be. We will share in a couple other suggested expressive activities, likely dance and movement oriented, and then we will create some kind of 'map' that we can take home with us (whether that is on paper, inside the mind or spirit or body, some object, etc). This final 'map' will be a symbol of our commitment to an enhanced inner landscape design; it will also provide a source of strength for us in maintaining our inspired lifestyles & new patterns. Please join us for this day of supported transition into who you truly want to be. |
