Usui Reiki Reiki is a holistic healing technique that uses Universal Life Force Energy to heal physical manifestations of pain through emotional and energetic restoration. It is an ancient practice that originated in Japan and it can incorporate a number of healing elements including crystals, meditation, chakra balancing, aromatherapy, and homeopathy.

Reiki practitioners believe deeply in the link between emotional health and balance and physical pain or disease. In many instances, the mind can create physical problems in the body to draw attention to lifestyle issues, habits and emotional barriers. By opening yourself up to the healing energy of reiki, you will often identify root emotional problems or obstacles that, once overcome, will help your physical body to heal and recover.

A reiki healer uses their hands on the body and this allows Chi, or universal energy, to flow through them and into you. This hands-on transfer of energy touches the mind, body and spirit and by helping you to restore balance, helps your body to learn to heal itself.
